แอร์บัส A380-800 ลำแรกของการบินไทยพร้อมประกอบเป็นเครื่องบินที่ตูลูส

นายปิยสวัสดิ์ อัมระนันทน์ กรรมการผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า ส่วนประกอบต่างๆ และส่วนหางของเครื่องบินแอร์บัส  A380-800 ลำแรกของการบินไทยได้รับการพ่นสีตกแต่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์การบินไทยและธงชาติไทยเสร็จสมบูรณ์แล้ว โดยได้ทยอยลำเลียงชิ้นส่วนต่างๆ เข้าสู่โรงงานประกอบเครื่องบินในเมืองตูลูส สาธารณรัฐฝรั่งเศส และจะเริ่มต้นดำเนินการประกอบเป็นลำตัวเครื่องบินภายในเดือนพฤศจิกายน ศกนี้ ทั้งนี้ การบินไทยสั่งซื้อเครื่องบินแอร์บัส  A380-800 จำนวน 6 ลำ และมีกำหนดการรับมอบเครื่องบินแอร์บัส A380-800 ลำแรก ประมาณ
เดือนกันยายน 2555

อนึ่ง เครื่องบินแอร์บัส A380–800 เป็นเครื่องบินโดยสารที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก ประกอบด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยและเป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม ทั้งนวัตกรรมของโครงสร้าง ประสิทธิภาพในการใช้เชื้อเพลิง และระบบควบคุมการบิน โดยการบินไทยได้กำหนดการออกแบบภายในห้องโดยสารให้ผู้โดยสารได้รับความสะดวกสบายสูงสุด มีที่นั่งจำนวน 507 ที่นั่ง แบ่งเป็นชั้นหนึ่ง 12 ที่นั่ง ชั้นธุรกิจ 60 ที่นั่ง และชั้นประหยัด 435 ที่นั่ง

Tail Section for THAI’s First A380 Rolls Out of Paint Shop 

The vertical tail section for the first A380 for Thai Airways International (THAI) has been painted with the airline’s logo at Airbus facilities in Hamburg. The painting was completed at the weekend and the section is now being prepared for shipment to Toulouse, where assembly of the airline’s first aircraft is set to begin this month.

The distinctive THAI logo comprises violet, gold and magenta and was applied over a period of 10 days. In addition, red and blue paints were also used for the national flag of the Kingdom of Thailand.

THAI will become the ninth operator of the A380 when it takes delivery of first aircraft in the third quarter of 2012. The airline has firm orders for six A380s and will operate the aircraft on its premier routes from Bangkok to Europe. Links to prthaiairways.com
